Each scene is designed like traditional music game levels but has added elements that make them more fun and engaging. Players usually start by selecting a character, which can be either the Astronaut or their own piano player friend from another level they've visited before (known as an "Astronote").

The goal of each mission involves interacting with musical instruments in specific scenes. For example: 1) In one scene where you're playing your favorite song and trying to make it sound like a different instrument, the music will change accordingly.
